BIO

​

Luke began his Arboricultural journey in 1999 as an Apprentice Tree Surgeon where he honed his skills over a 10 year period focusing on Rope & harness climbing, undertaking fine pruning, complex tree removals, installation of fall arrest & bracing systems and targeted aerial assessments. During these formative years, Luke completed Tertiary studies obtaining Certificates II, III & IV in Arboriculture and gained accreditation as a Certified Arborist from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).

In 2008 Luke advanced into Arboricultural Consultancy, providing high level expertise and advice in all aspects of urban Tree Management including: Tree specific project planning and development, Arboricultural input into construction documentation to achieve ‘Tree Sensitive’ designs, Development of site specific tree protection, preservation, remedial and management methodologies, The Implementation of tree management programs, Tree selection guidance and Tree Pest and Diseases management plans. 

During this time, Luke acquired his Diploma in Arboriculture (AQF 5) along with Graduate Certificate in Arboriculture (AQF 8) from Melbourne University in 2014.
